THE WISHINK WELL · KUTA

Japanese tattoo
in Bali.
Give your idea
room to unfold.

A dragon across a shoulder. A koi along an arm. A piece that grows into a sleeve. Bring us the image you keep coming back to, and let’s discuss its shape, scale and placement.

DISCUSS MY JAPANESE IDEA

START WITH WHAT YOU KNOW

Think beyond
the reference.

01

The subject

Share the subjects and references you’re drawn to, such as a dragon, koi, flowers or a mask. Tell us which elements matter most to you.

02

The scale

Are you planning a standalone piece, a half sleeve or a full sleeve? Let us know how much of the area you want to cover and whether you already have tattoos nearby.

03

The direction

Tell us the body area, whether you prefer colour or black and grey, and your travel dates. These details help us discuss the design and a realistic session plan.

THE ARTIST BEHIND YOUR PIECE

Your design.
A considered match.

At The Wishink Well, we work with selected freelance and guest artists. Share your idea and travel dates so we can discuss a suitable artist and check availability.

Ask to see relevant examples of the proposed artist’s work before you book. The details should feel right to you.

PRICING & BOOKING

A quote for
your design.

Our studio’s tattoo prices start from USD 59. Your Japanese tattoo quote depends on its size, placement and design complexity. A larger piece or sleeve needs an individual quote and session plan.

A 50% deposit is required to book once the price and booking details are agreed.

A few things to know.

Can I bring references for a Japanese tattoo?

Yes. Share a sketch, reference images or a description. Tell us which details you like so we can discuss the direction for your design.

Can we plan a Japanese sleeve?

Send your references, the arm or leg you want tattooed, and details of any existing tattoos in that area. We’ll discuss the coverage, design and artist availability before confirming the project.

How much does a Japanese tattoo cost?

Our studio minimum is USD 59; this is not a sleeve price. Japanese pieces are quoted according to size, placement and design complexity. Send your references and the area you want to cover for an individual quote.

Can my tattoo be completed during my Bali trip?

That depends on the design, its scale and artist availability. Share your arrival and departure dates before booking. We’ll discuss the sessions required; don’t assume a large piece can be completed in one visit.

Where is The Wishink Well?

Our studio is on Jl. Bunisari in Kuta, Bali. See our studio information.
